The Project
Technology update and UI/UX redesign of an existing outdated website selling online courses.
The Challenge
The aim of this project was to upgrade an existing WooCommerce website visually and technologically. The old theme was no longer supported and many pages were broken or impossible to comfortably view. Plus, it was the time for the visual redesign as well. So we began with designing a new look for pages and templates in Figma, and proceeded to development with WordPress/Elementor and Hello theme.
Result achieved
In the end, we have got a fully functional website with the new UI look but with the old sitemap and WooCommerce database preserved. Content and template editing is much easier now with a system of global backend settings. In the process of redesign, we also cleared up some content blocks and copy, making it more attractive for people and more sensible for search engines.
